On August 8th, Africa Improved Foods (AIF) led by his CEO Ramesh Moochikal #MDR, hosted the President of Madagascar, H.E. Andry Rajoelina, during his three-day official visit to Rwanda. President Rajoelina was on a state visit to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Rwanda and Madagascar and explore ways of investment cooperation in areas of mutual interest between two countries such as information and communications technology, mining, tourism, infrastructure, and manufacturing. He said that he was impressed by the AIF facility and the fact that AIF produce, transform, and feed the continent. AIF is the major foods manufacturer in Rwanda which include relief products (with Super Cereals Plus for WFP and Shisha Kibondo for MoH), as well as the mass market products (with Nootri range), with high quality processes and standards and a turnover of about 90$mil forecast in 2023.

President Rajoelina’s appreciation of AIF’s efforts emphasize the company’s vital role in the region.
