Ramesh Moochikal is the Chief Executive Officer of Africa Improved Foods since 1st June 2023. A senior global leader with a proven track record of over 30 years of financial and operating acumen, having managed successfully through various business cycles. He delivered growth through a mix of organic approaches and acquisitions.
With deep experiences in starting up, growing and leading a high growth Agriculture and Food business in developed and emerging markets in Africa, Asia and Europe his current remit spans all business aspects including procurement, processing, supply chain management, distribution and marketing. Each of these demand diverse and detailed execution and risk management competencies.

With nearly three decades of expertise in profit center management, international commodity sales, supply chain operations, and procurement, Abraham is a seasoned executive driving business growth and operational excellence across diverse sectors including Agri commodities, Retail, and FMCG.
Passionate about business transformation and cross-cultural collaboration, Abraham brings a wealth of experience to Africa Improved Foods. His leadership at Olam International Limited, where he served as Vice President of International Sales, Procurement & Logistics, exemplifies his strategic acumen in optimizing operations and fostering key partnerships across global markets.
Armed with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a B.Tech in Production Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Calicut, Abraham combines academic rigor with practical industry expertise to propel sustainable growth and operational excellence in Rwanda and beyond.

Caroline Moon is the Chief Finance Officer at Africa Improved Foods since November 2025. She also holds the position of Vice President, Transformation at dsm-firmenich, where she drives large-scale strategic and operational change initiatives across global functions.

With over 30 years of diverse leadership experience, Caroline has built a distinguished career spanning finance, strategy, acquisitions, divestments, supply chain, IT, and general management. She is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), holds an MBA, and is a qualified transformational coach, combining financial acumen with a deep commitment to people and organizational growth.

Meet Rajesh Singh, our distinguished Procurement Director, bringing over 28 years of expertise in P&L management, sourcing, trading, and distribution for various agro commodities across West Africa. Rajesh’s extensive experience spans key roles at reputable organisations such as Olam International Limited (Singapore), Arise IIP (Dubai), Wacot (TGI/Chi group, Nigeria), and Colgate Palmolive Ltd.

His commitment to sustainable partnerships is reflected in his work with cooperatives, communities, and farmers, fostering long-term growth for agriculture in Africa.

A competent professional in new business development, supply chain management, trading, commercial operations, sales, marketing, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and process transition, Rajesh has managed mid-size manufacturing plants in cocoa, sesame, and cotton operations.

Rajesh, a Science Graduate from Delhi University, further enhanced his knowledge with short-term programs from MIT Sloan, Colombia Business School, and Babson College. His proficiency in achieving profitability through optimal resource utilisation, strategic planning, and team development makes him an invaluable asset to our team.

Daniel Nyange is a seasoned operations executive with over two decades of experience in manufacturing leadership across East Africa. He currently serves as Chief Operations Officer at Africa Improved Foods Rwanda, where he has led operational excellence and manufacturing strategy since 2024. Daniel holds an MBA in Strategic Management and a BSc in Chemistry and Biochemistry, bringing a strong academic foundation to his practical leadership in the industrial sector.

Throughout his career, Daniel has held senior roles at leading organizations including SmithKline Beecham, Unilever, Unga Group, and Tropical Heat Ltd. He has built a reputation for transforming manufacturing operations through process optimization, safety and quality improvements, and team development. His leadership is marked by a pragmatic, data-driven approach and a deep understanding of on-the-ground operational challenges.

Daniel’s ability to align manufacturing performance with strategic business goals has made him a valuable contributor at the executive and board levels. He is known for fostering high-performing, cross-functional teams and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. His work continues to drive sustainable growth, operational resilience, and long-term value creation across the organizations he serves.

Dan is the Chief Finance Officer at Africa Improved Foods (AIF) Rwanda since 2024, where he leads the company’s financial strategy, performance management, and business partnering initiatives. Since joining AIF in 2016, he has been instrumental in building a robust finance function, implementing strong financial controls, and embedding forward-looking tools such as Rolling Annual Forecasts and EBITDA simulations to support strategic decision-making.

As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, Dan drives financial excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth across AIF’s operations. He partners closely with Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to optimize cost structures, evaluate investments, and strengthen AIF’s mission to deliver affordable, high-quality nutrition across Africa.

Before joining AIF, Dan worked with KPMG across East and Central Africa and later served as Finance & Administration Manager at Mutara Enterprises Ltd, a subsidiary of Crystal Ventures Ltd. His experience spans financial services, manufacturing, and corporate investments, underpinned by deep expertise in finance, taxation, IFRS, and internal controls.
